Total Reuse has agreed an arrangement to divert electric bed and chair parts collected by the Total Clearance team to the Brighter Futures workshop in Skelmersdale.
BFW is a Charity that service, repair and refurbishes used mobility equipment. Young disadvantaged people with disabilities assist in the repair, servicing and refurbishing of this equipment, supervised by trained technicians helping them to up-skill and remove barriers to employment. Their workshop takes some of the most disadvantaged disabled people - many of whom have been excluded socially, and suffer very low self-esteem.
The majority of the items come from the Comfomatic collections. With over 30 years of experience Comfomatic are dedicated to delivering a better quality of life for its customers, putting its customers first. They pride themselves on the provision of top quality British made products, coupled with good old fashioned service. From start to finish they work to deliver a level of service that surpasses their customers’ expectations.
Total Clearance pick up customer returns and replaced beds and chairs three times a week and now deliver any electrical beds and chairs to the workshop for spares or repair maintaining the company view that: if its reused, it doesn’t need recycling.
