If It's Reused It Doesn't Need Recycling

Its hard to believe but over 10 million household items are sent to landfill every year. 3 million of these items could be re-used by people in crisis, on low income or donated to charities, community groups and good causes.

As a member of The Furniture Re-use Network (FRN) we are one of over 300 re-use charities and social enterprises helping  to divert those reusable items to vulnerable people in crisis whilst reducing waste at the same time through the act of reuse.

Whislt we appreciate that many people look to support National Chaities with donations, many are not able to take everything and cherry pick items that can be sold immediatly. Total Reuse do not cherry pick.

If you have furniture, electrical or other household items that you no longer need or want and would like to support a local cause that cretaes jobs, provides education training and volunteering opportunities and reduces landfill then you can arrange a collection by calling: 01695 51163.

Items must be reusable and fit for purpose. If your items don't comply with current legisaltion, i.e. have fire lables or kite marks we may still be able to collect them.

If you have items that are not fit for reuse but want to dispose of them ethically then we can collect and deconstruct them thereby diverting them from landfill.  There is a charge for this service:

Bed Base - £4.50, Mattress - £4.50 (any size)
Armchair or 2 seat sofa - £15.00
3 Seat sofa or corner unit - £25.00
