Total Reuse are pleased to announce that the Skelmersdale and Up Holland (Re)Cycle to Work scheme is being continued although with some changes.

The scheme allows employed individuals to apply for a grant to purchase a reconditioned bike to enable them to travel to some of the more difficult to reach industrial estates.

Since the programme started we have supplied 53 bikes to successful applicants. To qualify, an individual must live in the Skelmersdale and Up Holland area and be employed, or have an offer of a job on the Pimbo Industrial Estate or White Moss Business Park. Applicants must also be earning less that £25.000.00 a year.

For those who qualify, we are able to offer a choice of refurbished bikes with new safety equipment. This is just one of a number of initiatives running from the Gladden House Social Enterprise Hub.
