Total Reuse have just been confirmed as the winners of the prestigious Echo Environmental Award for Waste Prevention sponsored by MRWA and Veolia.
The Liverpool Echo Environment Awards recognise the best environmental businesses, schools, community projects and individuals to thank those who are making a difference and celebrate their magnificent achievements in Merseyside and beyond.
This award was for: "those companies and organisations who embrace waste prevention. By avoiding or reducing the creation of waste, and being innovative in their re-use of materials and repair of items, they are demonstrating efficient use of natural resources in all of their processes. By bringing waste back into economic use, these organisations will show their commitment to sustainability and the emerging circular economy".
Total Reuse were also able to claim some credit for three other winners on the night. The Rotunda Garden has as its main feature a harvest table made by Total Reuse and both the University of Liverpool and Liverpool heart and Chest our our customers.
